Pink Muhlygrass, sometimes called Pink Hairgrass, is a medium sized ornamental grass with beautiful puffy plumes of pinkish flowers. Muhlenbergia capillaris grows to two and a half feet tall and wide with plumes reaching up to 4 feet. Drought tolerant and adaptable to many soils. Also tolerates poor air quality and Black Walnut. Blooms in late Fall through Winter. Native to California and Southwestern states.
