Rhaphiolepis 'Clara' is a cultivar of Indian Hawthorn that forms a neat mound to about 5 feet tall and wide. Theleaves are oval shaped with a coppery tinge on the edges. A pretty pale pink flower appears in the Spring followed by a cluster of small black berries. Rhaphiolepis 'Clara' is very drought tolerant but does like additional water to look it's best. It can thrive in sun or shade but will have nicer foliage in more sunlight. Hardy to about 15 deg. F.
