The Bowle's Mauve Wallflower is a bushy drought tolerant plant with beautiful mauve flower clusters. It's very hardy and can tolerate many soil types. Erysimum has an exceptionally long bloom season, typically starting in Spring and ending in the Fall, and has evergreen foliage. It's a medium height shrub to about 2' max so use this behind bordering plants to give fullness to the garden. This plant is a great substitute for the finicky Lavender shrubs. Consider cutting this plant back in Summer to promote new compact growth.
