- Myoporum parvifolium ‘Putah Creek’ is a low growing, fast spreading groundcover that’s widely used for covering large areas with a clean, consistent look. It’s especially effective on slopes, banks, and open spaces where you need something that will fill in quickly and stay low.
- The foliage is small, bright green, and dense, creating a smooth, carpet-like layer as it spreads. It has a softer look than some groundcovers, which helps it blend well with a variety of plant palettes.
- In spring and sometimes into summer, it produces small white flowers that are lightly speckled with purple. They’re not the main feature, but they add a subtle seasonal detail across the surface of the plant.
