Trailing Jade
Senecio jacobsenii
An incredible little succulent for pots, Trailing Jade has fleshy oval shaped leaves ranging from a lime green to a pale coppery-yellow with a tinge of purple. The leaves have an odd overlapping positioning along a long stem which can 'dangle' down from a pot as much as 4 feet. Plant Senecio jacobsenii in full sun to light shade and make sure to provide well-drained soil. A small orange flower will appear in late Fall, but will not always bloom as expected. It's very drought tolerant and is hardy down to about 25 deg. F.
