- Citrus x meyeri, commonly known as Meyer Lemon, is one of the most popular citrus trees for home gardens. It has a fuller canopy and a bit more scale compared to dwarf or semi dwarf varieties, which makes it a stronger visual anchor in the landscape. However, it can also be kept significantly smaller than it's mature size.
- The fruit is slightly rounder than a typical lemon, with a thinner skin and a deeper yellow to almost orange tone when ripe. The flavor is a bit softer and less acidic, which makes it especially versatile for cooking, drinks, and fresh use.
- The tree has dense, glossy green foliage and a naturally rounded canopy. In spring, and sometimes throughout the year, it produces fragrant white blossoms that add both scent and seasonal interest to the garden.
