Arbutus ‘Marina’, commonly known as Strawberry Tree, is one of those trees that brings year round interest without relying on a single standout moment. In multi trunk form, it has a sculptural quality that feels both natural and intentional, making it a strong focal point in the landscape.

The branching structure is a big part of its appeal. Multiple trunks rise from the base, each with smooth, reddish bark that peels over time to reveal lighter tones underneath. That layered bark adds texture and interest even when the tree isn’t in bloom.

The foliage is evergreen, with dark green leaves that create a dense but refined canopy. In fall through winter, the tree produces clusters of small, urn shaped white to soft pink flowers, often at the same time as its round, red fruit.
