Native to Japan and China, this beautiful evergreen plant can be used as a background shrub or a small flowering tree. It lives up to it's name with incredibly showy and fragrant flowers in April. The Sweet Olive tolerates clay soils and is deer resistant. Make sure to plant in an area that is protected from afternoon sun and away from reflected heat. Best in USDA zones 9-11.
