Cordyline Dark Star is great for Southwestern, contemporary, modern style. Drought and deer resistant. Hardy to 15 deg. F. Native to New Zealand. Similar to Flax or Phormium. Attractive bronze colored leaves make a great accent in the garden.  Large Flax-like foliage sits boldly atop a narrow stalk.  Pull off dead fronds as they brown and begin to droop.
