• Waxleaf Privet is a wonderful shrub for screening property lines or unsightly views.  It will grow up to about 10 feet tall but is typically kept to about 4 to 6 feet in a hedge.  Small white flowers occur in Spring, but most of the time these are not seen because of constant pruning.  Plant about 2.5 feet on center for a nice solid hedge line.  Fire and seaside tolerant.

Note:  5 gallon sizes may range from 2.5 to 3.5 feet tall and come on a wood stake.  15 gallon sizes may range from 4.5 to 5' by 14" wide.  24 inch boxes may come approximately 6 to 7' tall by 20" wide. The growth between a 15 gallon and 24" box is approximately 3 years. Note that a 25 gallon plastic tub may be substituted for a 24" wood box In some cases.
