- Sedum spathulifolium ‘Purpureum’, commonly known as Broadleaf Stonecrop, is a low growing succulent that brings rich color and soft texture into the landscape. It’s especially effective for adding contrast and depth in rock gardens or drought tolerant plantings.
- The foliage forms small, rounded rosettes with a unique purple to burgundy tint layered over a blue gray base. The color intensifies with sun exposure and cooler temperatures, creating a dynamic, ever-changing look.
- It spreads slowly by offsets, forming a low, dense mat that works well as a groundcover, along edges, or tucked between stones.
