- Sedum hispanicum ‘Blue Carpet’ is a low growing succulent that’s all about texture and tone. It forms a soft, spreading mat of fine, blue green foliage that reads almost like a ground-hugging haze when planted in groups.
- The leaves are small and needle like, giving it a much finer texture than most sedums. That softness makes it especially useful for contrast, particularly when placed next to bolder succulents or more structured plants.
- In late spring to early summer, it produces tiny, star shaped flowers in pale pink to white. The blooms are subtle, but they add a light seasonal layer that complements the foliage rather than overpowering it.
