- Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum ‘Burgundy’ is one of those shrubs that brings strong color without relying entirely on flowers. The deep burgundy foliage holds its tone throughout much of the year, giving you a consistent backdrop that adds contrast to greener plantings.
- The leaves are small and slightly rounded, forming a dense, layered canopy that can be shaped or left more natural. It has a somewhat arching growth habit, which keeps it from feeling too stiff or overly formal.
