Senecio radicans is a fun little succulent that is incredibly dramatic when used in potted arrangements.  The small fleshy leaves are shaped like miniature bananas and are situated oppositely along a long slender stem.  Each stem has the potential to grow about 3 feet, so hanging basket lovers, this one is for you!  It's drought tolerant and requires relatively low maintenance.  Make sure to let the plant dry out in between waterings.  Small white flowers appear occasionally but are inconspicuous.  You can propigate String of Bananas by cuttings.  Can also be ised as an indoor plant with ample light.  Other names Senecio radicans may be sold as include Curio radicans and Senecio Fish Hooks.  Native to South Africa.
