This 'powerful' little plant provides some pretty outstanding winter interest with it's blood red foliage color changing abilities. Will somewhat naturalize and can sometimes be considered invasive with it's vigorous root system. Tolerates drought and shade. Native to India and Japan. Easy to grow. Will get more dramatic foliage color in more sun. Drought tolerant. USDA Zone: 6-9
