- Lamium maculatum ‘White Nancy’, commonly known as Spotted Dead Nettle, is a low growing, shade loving groundcover prized for its bright foliage and soft, spreading habit. Its leaves are a striking silver with narrow green edges, creating a luminous effect that helps brighten darker areas of the garden.
- In spring and into early summer, ‘White Nancy’ produces clusters of small, hooded white flowers that rise just above the foliage. The blooms add a gentle seasonal touch and bring in pollinators, especially bees.
- This plant forms a dense, trailing mat that works well under trees, along shaded pathways, or spilling over the edges of containers and walls. It spreads steadily but is easy to manage, making it a great option for filling in gaps and softening shaded spaces.
