This hardy fern gets it's name from it's tough, leathery feeling fronds that are stiff and ridgid. This makes them idea to use in floral arrangements. Plat Leatherleaf fern in partial or full shade and protected from long exposure to direct sun light. Plant along the border of a pthway in masses for a great lush woodland affect. Can tolerate seacoast exposure.
